Shiv Sena Chief Uddhav Thackeray Threatens to Step Down if Not Fit to Lead Party

At the party's 60th foundation day event on Friday, Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray launched a scathing attack on the BJP, the Shinde faction, and turncoat leaders. In his address, he told workers that they need not wait for any orders, as Balasaheb Thackeray had made his stand against traitors clear long ago. Meanwhile, he also made a big statement in his speech. He said, "If party workers and leaders feel that he is not fit for the post of Shiv Sena chief, he is ready to step down." He said, "I am ready to make any deserving person the president of Shiv Sena. I am not going to step back from the struggle, but the day you feel that I am not fit for this responsibility, I will leave this post." Shiv Sena (UBT) chief Uddhav Thackeray addressed party workers on Friday, saying that "Some people may be thinking that after the Shiv Sena and Thackeray's political challenges, Balasaheb Thackeray is not going to accept a defeat."
