Shiv Sena in Disarray: Maharashtra Politics on the Verge of Major Upheaval

MUMBAI: Maharashtra politics is once again on the verge of a major upheaval. Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena (UBT), barely sitting after Eknath Shinde's rebellion, seems to be in a state of disarray. Party's prominent leader and MP Sanjay Jadhav is missing from two important meetings held at'Matoshree'and'Sena Bhavan '. Reports of Jadhav being out of touch with some of the leadership of late have caused concern in the Uddhav camp. Amid murmurs of discontent in the party, MPs Nagesh Patil Ashtikar and Sanjay Deshmukh attended a dinner at Union minister Prataprao Jadhav's residence in Delhi, which has added fuel to the fire. Sanjay Jadhav's meeting with senior BJP leader Amit Shah has further fuelled the talk of'Operation Tiger '. However, senior party leaders like Ambadas Danve are claiming that the party is in disarray.
