Shiv Sena MP Questions Credibility of Investigating Agencies, Judiciary in Ram Temple Theft Case

Politics is intensifying across the country over the Ram temple theft case in Ayodhya. Uddhav Thackeray faction MP Arvind Sawant has questioned the credibility of the investigating agencies as well as the judiciary. He launched a scathing attack and said that the biggest misfortune of the country is that the judiciary remains a slave under the current government. Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Arvind Sawant said in a media interaction, "The judiciary which is expected to protect the constitution is not fulfilling its responsibility. The biggest misfortune of the country is that the judiciary here remains a slave. Who can protect the constitution? The judiciary, but does it do its job?" Criticizing the Supreme Court, Sawant alleged, "They are sitting like slaves." He also questioned the credibility of the Special Investigation Team (SIT) and alleged that their functioning is not independent.
