Shooting Disrupts White House Correspondents' Association Dinner

New Delhi, તા.27: The annual White House Correspondents'Association dinner at the Washington Hilton Hotel on Saturday night was set to be a memorable evening. US President Donald Trump was attending the event for the first time. Trump was preparing to interact strictly with the media, but suddenly shots rang out. President Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, Vice President જે.ડી. Vance and other Cabinet members were immediately escorted to safety by Secret Service officers. No senior officials or guests were injured in the shooting. The shooter has been identified as 31-year-old Cole Thomas Allen, a resident of Torrance, California. According to police, he arrived at the Washington Hilton Hotel with three weapons: two handguns and a shotgun. He tried to break through the security checkpoint, exchanged gunfire with officers, then was taken into custody.
