South Korea Deploys Military Resources to Support Freedom of Navigation in Strait of Hormuz

It is preparing to deploy military resources to support'freedom of navigation'in Hormuz. According to South Korean media reports, these are aimed to be sent before the end of this year. These reports cite government and military sources. Several South Korean media outlets report that the government is preparing the process to seek parliamentary approval for this deployment. The government plans to present a consensus proposal to parliament this month after a cabinet review. Among the options the government is considering are sending maritime patrol aircraft, logistical support to ships or tunnelling tunnels. In addition to sending them to South Korea, the Blue Origin unit is also discussing with the President of South Korea and the United States.
