SP Leader's Comments on Women Spark Controversy in Uttar Pradesh

In Uttar Pradesh's Ghazipur, Mithai Lal Bharti, the national president of Samajwadi Party's Ambedkar Vahini, made such a statement about women, about which politics has intensified. The SP leader said about the presence of women in large numbers in the program of PDA Jan Chaupal under the Save the Constitution campaign, "We know what these women have come for." The SP leader targeted the Bharatiya Janata Party during this program and said that the SP is struggling to save reservation. Our campaign will continue till 2027. Women were also involved in this action of the SP in large numbers. Seeing their crowd, Mithai Lal said something about women which has become a topic of discussion. Mithai Lal said that where women come, it means the program is unsuccessful. He asked the people present not to take the program lightly. He said, "If I speak, then you people will feel bad. It is not a shaadi-baraat that food is being served and after that, the saree will be distributed and the work will go on." He said that the party will go ahead with a bigger purpose, where women are more important.
