US-Iran War: The dire situation in the Middle East and the global energy crisis have now affected Sri Lanka as well, with the Sri Lankan government raising petrol and diesel prices by about 25 percent. The government has urged citizens to use fuel sparingly and judiciously. Notably, the Pakistan government has also raised petrol and diesel prices a few days ago.
