Student Union Elections Marred by Chaos and Protests at Panjab University

The students could not vote as the gate was closed prematurely. The students raised slogans at the spot. The police started taking away the ballot boxes from the law department, which the students did not let go of. The students have been protesting for about an hour. The polling did not start. The students are being given various assurances, but no concrete results have reached the DSW students so far.
