Supreme Court Rebukes West Bengal Government Amid No-Confidence Motion Debate in Parliament

The Supreme Court is hearing a case related to the ongoing SIR process in West Bengal. The court has reprimanded the state government on matters related to the deletion of names from the voter list. CJI Surya Kant warned all parties regarding the SIR and asked them not to dare to question judicial officers. Lok Sabha MP and Congress leader Gaurav Gogoi said in favor of the no-confidence motion that there is not even a deputy speaker in the house. The country should know how the house is running.
