Synthetic Milk Scandal: Fake Milk Being Mixed with Real Milk, Says Maharashtra FDA Commissioner

Milk is the need of almost every household and it is used in different ways from morning to night. Milk is used from making tea in the morning to curd, paneer and sweets. Milk is included in children's meals to make up for the lack of calcium. But do you know that this milk used daily can prove to be dangerous for your health, because the milk that comes to your house is not just milk, but many harmful chemicals are mixed in it. Recently, Tukaram Mundhe, the commissioner of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) of Maharashtra, has made many shocking revelations about synthetic milk in a podcast. He told that some people are preparing fake milk for less money and selling it by mixing it with real milk. Tukaram Mundhe told that after taking office on 25 May, the Maharashtra FDA is constantly taking action. The department is investigating more than 20 places every day. So far, more than 1,131 have been inspected. During this podcast, about 1.60 lakh liters of milk have also been seized.
