Tamil Nadu CM Announces Relief Package for All MLAs, Including Government Cars and Increased Health Cover

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has announced a major relief package for all 234 MLAs of the state. Under this announcement, every MLA of the state will be given a government car, monthly fuel and maintenance allowance and increased health cover. This decision of the Chief Minister has been welcomed by many other MLAs along with the ruling party. The MLAs will be given a government car each to facilitate public service work in their constituency. The government will provide a special allowance of Rs 75,000 every month for the driver, fuel and maintenance expenses of the vehicles. The health insurance cover of elected representatives has been increased from Rs 5 lakh to Rs 25 lakh directly. CM Vijay said in the assembly, justifying this expenditure. The MLAs have to visit their areas continuously to solve the problems of the public. Many MLAs are from a common background and have been elected for the first time. This decision has been taken by Congress MLA Mohan Raj Kathmani, Law Minister and Law and Justice Minister to ensure corruption-free education.
