Tamil Nadu Government Announces New Cars for All MLAs to Facilitate Constituency Work

Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has announced that all the MLAs of the state will get new cars for travel. He said that the MLAs have to travel regularly to take care of the needs of the people in their areas, so the government will provide cars to all the MLAs. It is being reported that the TVK government has taken this decision after VCK MLA Jothimani raised the demand for necessary logistics and vehicles in the assembly. Chief Minister Vijay made it clear that the MLAs have to travel to their respective assembly constituencies to be constantly active and solve the problems of the common people. The state government has planned to give new cars to all the MLAs in order to facilitate the movement of the MLAs and to meet the needs of the people on the ground faster. Before this announcement, VCK MLA Jothimani had raised the issue of the need for vehicles for the MLAs. Jothimani had said that if the MLAs do not have the necessary logistics and vehicle support, then he would not be able to make the request for special vehicles available to the MLAs in his constituency.
