Tamil Nadu Witnesses Bumper Voter Turnout for Assembly Elections

Tamil Nadu witnessed a bumper voter turnout on Thursday for the assembly elections. 85 per cent voting was recorded for the 234 seats in the state. Since morning, there was a rush at the polling stations, where Kollywood stalwarts Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan, Dhanush, Ajith Kumar, actor and TVK head honcho Thalapathy Vijay to Trisha Krishnan exercised their franchise. Meanwhile, a shocking claim has been made by actress Akshaya Hariharan.
