Teenager's Unusual Habit: Swimming in Ponds for Relief from Skin Irritation and Haunting Force

16-year-old Iqbal Sheikh is the talk of the town these days because of his unique life. Not for a day or two, but for four to five days at a stretch, sometimes even for seven days. So the locals say that for him, water is life. This is the case of Murshidabad district in West Bengal. According to the locals, for the last about five years, Iqbal has been swimming day and night in all the ponds of Beldanga town after leaving home. This is neither a hobby nor an attempt to make any record. Iqbal says that his body is constantly irritated. He claims that he is haunted by a jinn, a fairy or some invisible force. As soon as he comes out of the water, the body starts burning, while he gets relief after getting into the water. Due to being in the water for several days, he is suffering from a white skin on his hands and feet. According to the locals, Iqbal has been in the water for a long time for the treatment of water-cold cough. He is also suffering from the local health center for a long time.
