Opposition parties protested in Delhi on Friday (October 2) demanding the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. On the other hand, the Cockroach Janata Party is protesting at Shivaji Park in Mumbai. Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) founder Abhijit Dipke had announced that CEC Gyanesh Kumar should resign. If he does not resign, the CJP will protest against him. Similarly, Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has demanded the resignation of Gyanesh Kumar over the disturbances in the Election Commission and is constantly attacking the BJP over it. Security of police and paramilitary forces has been increased at Delhi's Jantar Mantar and Section 163 of the BNS has been imposed in the New Delhi area by the Delhi Police. Delhi Police has said that no demonstration is being allowed in the entire area. No one is being allowed inside Jantar Mantar at the moment.
