Kullu: The buzz for a Third Front ahead of the 2027 Assembly elections in Himachal Pradesh has intensified. 48 political veterans from the BJP and Congress, who felt left out of the mainstream, gathered in Kullu. The Assembly elections are about a year-and-a-half away, but the effort is to see the new front germinate. The recent crucial meeting in the cold winter of Kullu has tried to change the temperature of the state's politics. A former minister, requesting anonymity, says, "Around 48 leaders, including 28 former MLAs, attended the meeting. Four leaders from Kullu were present at the meeting.
