Three Trinamool Congress Rajya Sabha MPs Join BJP, Launch Attack on Mamata Banerjee

The three Rajya Sabha MPs who resigned from the Trinamool Congress in West Bengal have been declared as BJP candidates. Today these three leaders joined the party in the presence of BJP state president Shamik Bhattacharya. These big faces who joined the BJP include Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chik Baraik. These leaders had resigned from the Rajya Sabha membership just before joining the BJP, soon after which the BJP decided to field them. Let us tell you that three Rajya Sabha seats were vacated by Sukhendu Sekhar Roy, Sushmita Dev and Prakash Chik Baraik leaving the TMC. Now these three leaders are once again entering the election fray. After joining the BJP, former Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Roy launched a scathing attack on Mamata Banerjee and the TMC government. He said,'As our president noted about this election, in any Indian state, the backward ID1% voting took place. Now Mamata Banerjee's discussion on Sukhendu (Sukhendu) has ended completely.
