TMC Alleges Illegal Voter Registration in West Bengal

On Monday evening, a TMC delegation led by TMC's All India General Secretary Abhishek Banerjee went to the state CEO's office. On Monday, Abhishek claimed that a large number of Form 6s were submitted to the state CEO's office unethically. After a meeting with CEO Manoj Kumar Agarwal, Abhishek said, "We have caught hold of them. About 30,000 Form 6s have been submitted and attempts have been made to include residents of Bihar, Uttar Pradesh in the voter list here." Before going to the CEO's office, Abhishek shared several video footages in this regard on his X handle. However, nothing has been reported by the commission till the time of filing this report. He said, "Some people love Bengal, they have sent me the video. The box is stored on the floor. I have given the video to X handle. As per the rules of the Election Commission, more than 50 Form 6s cannot be submitted. Over 30 thousand Form 6s have been submitted illegally in 6 hours from 11 am to 7 am today. These are not voters of Bengal, but voters of UP."
