TMC Bank Account Probe Demanded by Rebel MLAs Amidst Corruption Allegations

Trouble continues to mount for the TMC. The rebel MLAs have filed a complaint demanding a probe into the party's bank accounts. Former sports minister Aroop Biswas, calling himself the'treasurer ', wrote a letter to the bank officials requesting them to stop transactions from the Trinamool's accounts. Now, a new twist has come in the controversy surrounding the internal accounts of the TMC. Now, 10 Trinamool MLAs close to Ritabrata Banerjee have demanded an investigation into the transactions of some bank accounts associated with the party. These MLAs have filed a written complaint with the Bidhannagar Cyber Crime Police Station. The complaint specifically mentions the transactions of three accounts mentioned in Aroop Biswas's letter earlier and fears that they may have been deposited from illegal or opaque sources. The complainants allege that these accounts were used to carry out illegal activities such as fraudulent financial transactions, embezzlement, and illegal money collection. However, it is suspected that the money was transferred to the original banking systems by using digital means.
