More than 20 MPs of TMC (Trinamool Congress) are on the verge of leaving the party. These MPs now want to form a separate group and talk about supporting NDA (BJP). On Monday, they are going to Delhi to meet the Lok Sabha Speaker. There is a big tussle in TMC i.e. Mamata Banerjee's party. Since the assembly elections in West Bengal, there has been increasing friction within the party. TMC MP Kakoli Ghosh Dastidar, who has become the leader of this rebel group, said that she now has 22 MPs with her. Earlier she claimed 20. Two new MPs have joined, but their names have not been disclosed yet. Kakoli said that the names will be revealed only when they formally join. On Monday, these MPs are going to meet Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla. The demand is that they be recognized as a separate parliamentary group, i.e. they want to form a new parliamentary block apart from TMC. Kakoli Ghosh herself said this on Friday, 19 MPs have come out of the Kolkata Airport.
