After West Bengal, now Delhi seems to be far away for Mamata Banerjee. Amid the turmoil in the party after the defeat in the assembly elections 2026, 14 MPs of Trinamool Congress (TMC) met Union Minister and BJP veteran Bhupendra Yadav at his residence. Notably, Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari was also present on this occasion. According to sources, Suvendu Adhikari arrived in Delhi today. BJP leader and former Tripura CM Biplab Deb was also present in this meeting. Five MPs also met Rajya Sabha MP Sukhendu Sekhar Ray. Let us tell you that Sukhendu has resigned from all posts of Rajya Sabha as well as TMC today. Earlier in Delhi itself, five MPs had met Sukhendu Sekhar. These MPs include Sharmila Sarkar, MP from Burdwan East, Prasun Banerjee, MP from Howrah, Jagdish Basunia, MP from Cooch Behar, MP from Jhargram, Soren Soren, and MP from Bankura, Sukhup Chakraborty recently issued a statement on the TMC's "no-confidence" in power (TMC) since 15 years.
