TMC Rebel Leader Claims NCPI as Largest NDA Constituent, Demands Changes to Lok Sabha Seating Arrangements

Bandyopadhyay, who joined the NCPI along with 19 other rebel TMC MPs after the West Bengal Assembly election results, claimed that the NCPI is also the largest constituent of the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). He said, "I also demanded in the all-party meeting that the smaller party should not be given a front row seat in the Lok Sabha. The party (TMC) is now left with only eight MPs." At the all-party meeting called by the government ahead of the monsoon session of Parliament on Sunday, the entire opposition walked out symbolically.
