Trump Suggests Renaming US State and Strait, Sparking Controversy

US President Donald Trump is once again in the news for his post, this time hinting at changing the name of the US state of New Mexico to New America. Trump shared a post on his social media platform Truth Social, cutting out the word'Mexico'and replacing it with'America '. Trump said in his post, "Many people have suggested that New Mexico be renamed New America. It would be much more honorable and beautiful for the people of that wonderful state. Wow, I loved it!" Earlier, amid the ever-increasing tensions with Iran. The US President had posted a post saying that if Hormuz is now under US control, why not rename it to'Trump Strait '. Trump posted, "While the Strait of Hormuz is now under US control, should it be renamed to'Straits of Trump'before the Strait of Hormuz is even named?"
