Turkey's Celebi Aviation Reveals Billions in Losses After Siding with Pakistan During Operation Sindoor

Turkey's Celebi Aviation paid the price for siding with Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. A year after it was forced out of India, the company has for the first time spoken openly about its losses. The company claims that India's actions cost it billions of rupees in one day. The company's chairperson, Canan Celebioglu, says that the cancellation of security clearance by the Indian government cost his company $500 million (₹4,300 crore). In an interview with Bloomberg, he says that the company had a very hard-earned presence in India since 2000. Celebioglu said that it was not just a business loss. It was the end of two decades of hard work. According to him, "We worked with the government on policy changes to build this sector. Every problem was solved and this business was built, but in one day, everything was finished." During the four-day conflict between India and Pakistan, its military drone operations landed in Islamabad and Turkish military drone operations.
