Turkey's President Erdogan Urges Dialogue to Resolve Kashmir Dispute at UNGA

Turkey's President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has once again made a dirty trick against India from the platform of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). Erdogan has again raised the issue of Kashmir from the platform of the UNGA. He said that all disputes in South Asia, including the issue of Kashmir, should be resolved through dialogue within the framework of the UN Charter. During his address on Tuesday (September 22, 2026) at the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) meeting held in New York, USA, Turkish President Erdogan said, "It is very important in South Asia that the Kashmir issue, as well as all other disputes, be resolved through dialogue and discussion within the framework of the UN Charter and other related resolutions." For the past several years, the President of Turkey has repeatedly raised the issue of Kashmir from the platform of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA). However, India has repeatedly criticized Erdogan's open statements on Kashmir.
