Tamilaga Vetri Katchagam (TVK) chief and legislative party leader C Joseph Vijay on Sunday took oath as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, marking a new chapter in the state's politics. Governor Rajendra Vishwanath Arlekar administered the oath of office and secrecy to him at a grand ceremony held at Nehru Stadium in Chennai. The presence of a huge crowd of TVK workers and Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was also discussed on the occasion. Vijay took oath in the name of God, and his ministers followed the same tradition.
