A family member has alleged that the two girls were killed by their father and other relatives in a fit of rage. The incident is from Farakpura village in Sadar police station area. Police have started questioning the father Bharat Lodha and his son after detaining them in view of the seriousness of the case. A search operation is underway in the Chambal river for the bodies of the two girls. According to the police, the deceased were twin sisters. The father Bharat Lodha allegedly took them in a car to the Chambal river bridge. Villagers and relatives grew suspicious when the two girls were not seen in the village for several days. When the girls were not traced, a panchayat was called in the village on Friday. Bharat Lodha reportedly admitted during the panchayat that the other members of the family did not inform the police after the child fell into the river.
