The UK's Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) said, the ministerial meetings with two major countries, China and India, are likely to discuss issues such as the situation in the Strait of Hormuz, Russia's attack on Ukraine, and the Ebola outbreak in Africa. Cooper will hold bilateral talks with India's External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on Thursday, followed by talks with business and academia. Cooper will also meet with her Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar. She will also meet entrepreneurs, academics, and government partners who are working to advance the'UK-India Vision 2035 '. Cooper is visiting Delhi at a time when the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between India and the UK was finalised nearly a year ago. The agreement was concluded in July last year under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Both leaders described the agreement as "an ambitious and forward-looking agreement."
