Ukraine's Zelenskyy Orders Escalation of Drone Strikes Against Russia Amid Ongoing Conflict

The ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine may intensify again. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has asked his military to increase long-range drone strikes against Russia. Moscow continues to launch deadly attacks in Ukraine. In his evening address on Friday (August 28), Zelenskyy said that he wants the military to launch at least 1,000 drones daily against Russia. Current estimates are around 300. Drone strikes are planned to increase more than threefold. Zelenskyy said that there should be more strikes. He said that there is a fixed target and this work is done. According to the report of ID1, Zelenskyy also spoke about the visit of US intelligence chief John Ratcliffe to Moscow and the reports of the meetings held there. He said that Kiev has received information about the meetings held in Moscow these days from the US side. However, he did not give much information about it. Zelenskyy said that there were meetings with the US there. Zelenskyy also confirmed that there were several meetings with Russia and Racklin.
