He also mentioned Pakistan's contribution to UN peacekeeping missions. The military said Munir praised the UN's role in promoting peace, stability, and humanitarian cooperation under Guterres's leadership. While Guterres appreciated the sacrifices and contributions of Pakistan and its armed forces in the war on terror and UN peacekeeping missions. He also spoke of Pakistan's continued commitment to international peace and terrorism, which India had only postponed the meeting last year.
