Unseasonal Rain Wreaks Havoc on Chotila's Crops, Leaving Farmers Devastated

(By Jignesh Shah) Chotila તા.20: Following the forecast of the Meteorological Department, a sudden change in the weather was seen in Chotila taluka and the surrounding rural areas last evening. Unseasonal rain (Mawtha) with strong winds blowing like black clouds and mini-storms in the sky has divided the farmers in the entire area. The fields are flooded, the ready crop is destroyed. The Rabi crop season is in its final stages. The harvest of valuable crops such as wheat, cumin, and chickpea is ready in the fields. Unexpected rain has taken a toll on the farmers'hard work. Crop stones have appeared in many fields, causing serious damage to the quality of the grain and causing great economic loss. The farmers are now feeling helpless. Unseasonal rain has affected the cash crops such as castor and cumin seeds.
