UP Assembly Elections: BJP Eyes Hat-Trick Victories in Gautam Budh Nagar District

Uttar Pradesh assembly elections are scheduled for next year. Out of 403 assembly seats in UP, three seats of Noida, Dadri and Jewar in Gautam Budh Nagar district are included. All these three seats were won by the Bharatiya Janata Party in the 2022 assembly elections. In the upcoming assembly elections, political parties are making their strategies keeping in mind the caste equation. While the BJP is preparing to make a hat-trick of victories on all three, the opposition parties have also started working on their strategies. The Noida assembly seat of Gautam Budh Nagar is currently held by Pankaj Singh of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In the 2022 election results, he got 2,44,319 votes. However, the BJP voting percentage has increased in the 2017 and 2022 elections. The BJP won three assembly elections from here (2012, 2017 and 2022) and the 2014 by-election. The current MLA from Dadri assembly seat of Gautam Budh Nagar is Tejpal Singh Nagar of the Bharatiya Janata Party. In the 2022 assembly elections, he received 2,18,068 votes.
