In UP, Suheldev Bhartiya Samaj Party (Subhaspa) national president and Panchayati Raj Minister Om Prakash Rajbhar came down heavily on the Samajwadi Party and its national president Akhilesh Yadav during a public hearing held at Nireekshan Bhawan in Atraulia on Thursday (June 18). He claimed that like the TMC and Shiv Sena (UBT), a big break is set in the Samajwadi Party and many MPs will be seen standing with the BJP in the coming days. Rajbhar said that there is disquiet in the top leadership of the Samajwadi Party after the alleged letter written by Ramgopal Yadav to Union Home Minister Amit Shah. He alleged that the fear of investigation by central agencies in cases like mining scam and Gomti River Front is troubling the SP leaders. He also said that the statement made by BJP leader Keshav Prasad Maurya that many SP MPs are in touch with the BJP should not be taken lightly. Taking a jibe at the Brahmin conference held by the Samajwadi Party in Lucknow, Rajbhar said, "Now, most of the Brahmin community, Ahir Brahmin scholars and Ram temple construction workers will be humiliated."
