US and Israel Kill IRGC Spokesman in Targeted Strikes on Iran

Iranian state media confirmed on Friday that the IRGC's chief spokesman, Ali Mohammad Naini, has been killed in targeted strikes by the United States and Israel. The IRGC is Iran's most powerful military and economic body, reporting directly to the Supreme Leader. The death of Ali Mohammad Naini is the fourth major loss for the Iranian leadership this week. Iran has lost three other highly influential officials in the past few days. Former parliament speaker and senior adviser Ali Larijani, head of the Basij volunteer force Gholamreza Soleimani, and Iran's intelligence minister Esmail Khatib have been killed in these attacks. The attack comes at a time when US and Israeli forces continue to target Iran's strategic bases and leadership under Operation Epic Fury. Trump has previously claimed that dozens of Iranian naval vessels have been destroyed after his son, Ali Khamenei, was killed.
