In addition, the Biden administration approved an additional $8 billion military aid package in 2025. In other words, US aid is about 15% of Israel's total defense budget. Don't underestimate it, because it is difficult to claim that the US military has the resources to fight a long war without Israel's military chief trying to use the gap to its advantage.
