US-Iran Talks Collapse in Islamabad, Sparking Global Economic Concerns

New Delhi: The failure of high-level talks between the United States and Iran in Islamabad has deepened international concern. Foreign affairs expert Robinder Sachdeva called it unfortunate for all sides, saying it could have serious repercussions for the global economy and exacerbated the confrontation. According to Sachdeva, the main contentious issues of the talks included the Strait of Hormuz, nuclear enrichment, and questions of sovereignty. Despite heavy military pressure, Iran has refused to bow to US demands and maintains its control over Hormuz, which has now emerged as a "super weapon" in the conflict.
