US Proposes Major Increase in H-1B Visa Application Fee

A new and major development has come to light regarding H-1B visas in the US, which has once again surprised everyone. In fact, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of the US Donald Trump administration has proposed to increase the fee for H-1B applications. The department said that the fee for visa applications has now been proposed to be 1,03,265 dollars. However, this increased fee will only apply to a few visa applications. This proposal by the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) has been published in the US Federal Register. According to which, the payment of the controversial fee increase of $100,000 for H-1B visas introduced by US President Donald Trump last year will now become a formal regulatory requirement. This new proposed rule will now be kept among the people for the next 30 days, on which the citizens of the United States will put their views on this proposed rule and after this, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) of the US Department of Homeland Security can give this final step to the H-1B program.
