Uttar Pradesh BJP MLA Brij Bhushan Rajput Escapes Fatal Road Accident

BJP MLA from Charkhari in Mahoba district of Uttar Pradesh, Brij Bhushan Rajput, narrowly escaped a fatal road accident late on Wednesday night. The MLA was returning from a wedding in Hamirpur when an uncontrolled dumper rammed into his convoy. The MLA escaped unhurt but his escort vehicle was hit hard, injuring three security personnel. After the incident, the MLA and his father, former MP Gangacharan Rajput, denied it was an accident and called it a conspiracy to murder. The incident took place around 12: 30 pm on Wednesday in Kharela police station area of Mahoba district. The MLA Brij Bhushan Rajput was returning after attending a marriage ceremony from Hamirpur. His convoy had reached near Sankat Mochan temple when a banana-laden dumper suddenly moved towards him. It was reported that the dumper tried to hit the MLA's car. However, the MLA's driver showed sense of timing and pulled the car down from the road. The MLA's escort vehicle was hit by a dumper but the rear portion of the dumper was completely damaged.
