Uttar Pradesh Cabinet Minister Sanjay Nishad Criticizes Police Handling of Kamlesh Bind Encounter Case

On the recent Kamlesh Bind encounter case in Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, cabinet minister in the state government and Nishad Party president Sanjay Nishad has expressed displeasure over the statement of Agriculture Minister Surya Pratap Shahi saying, "If Surya Pratap Shahi is with Brahmins, then we are also with our Samaj Bind." He objected to such punishment by the police and said that the party may have to bear its loss in the upcoming assembly elections. Sanjay Nishad claimed that he will visit the victim's family. He further said that till date, whenever a dreaded criminal has been killed, we have never protested. But this has been done by the police. There is no such serious allegation on him. While the main accused is a Brahmin, so his encounter has not taken place. Sanjay Nishad said that he has met Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and told him his opinion and family's demand on this matter. He has taken cognizance of this and has said that if the Sanjay Shahi Samaj has made a statement in favor of Surya Shahi, then he will be angry.
