Imran Masood, MP from Saharanpur, has been given the responsibility of working president. Apart from this, the party has appointed Devendra Nishad and Alok Prasad as senior vice presidents. Aradhana Mishra is a Congress MLA from Rampur Khas Assembly seat in Pratapgarh and has also been the leader of the Congress Legislative Party. She is the daughter of senior Congress leader Pramod Tiwari. Imran Masood is a Lok Sabha MP from Saharanpur. He has also previously held the responsibility of vice president in the Uttar Pradesh Congress. With the appointment of Aradhana Mishra, Ajay Rai's tenure as Uttar Pradesh Congress president has ended. Now the responsibility of the state organization will be in the hands of a new team. The party has given a big message by appointing working president and senior vice presidents along with the state president. The new organizational change is being seen as preparation for the 2027 assembly elections. By making Aradhana Mishra the state president, Congress has tried to create a Brahmin vote bank.
