Uttar Pradesh Government Announces Plan to Illuminate Primary Schools with PM Surya Ghar Yojana

Primary schools in Uttar Pradesh will be illuminated with the PM Surya Ghar Yojana. It will also give wings to smart classes. It will also run fans in the summer and illuminate the class form with LED lights. On the request made by the Basic Education Department, the state government is going to send a letter to the central government for this. The scheme has a provision of giving subsidy for installing solar panels on rooftops to give up to 300 units of free electricity per month, so along with the houses, a proposal will be sent to the center to include primary schools in this scheme. As soon as the center agrees, primary schools will also be able to produce electricity by installing solar panels on their rooftops. Before this, on the instructions of the Yogi government, all prepaid meters will now work as postpaid smart meters for the convenience of electricity consumers and quick resolution of their problems. This was informed in an official statement on Monday. The electricity bill will be mentioned in the electricity bill as before. Along with this, the consumers will also be given relief in 10 installments.
