Uttar Pradesh Government Approves Budget Boost to Drive Industrial Development

Under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, the Uttar Pradesh government is continuously giving new impetus to industrial development towards the goal of making Uttar Pradesh a trillion-dollar economy. In this sequence, the 51st board meeting of the Uttar Pradesh State Industrial Development Authority (UPSIDA) was held on Monday in Lok Bhawan, Lucknow under the chairmanship of Additional Chief Secretary, Infrastructure and Industrial Development Department and UPSIDA Board Chairman Alok Kumar. The meeting approved many important proposals related to industrial development, investment promotion, infrastructure expansion and administrative reforms. The biggest decision of the meeting was to approve almost double the budget of UPSIDA for the financial year 2026-27. This budget will give new impetus to the development of new industrial areas, expansion of existing industrial areas, modernization of industrial infrastructure and investment in the state. The board meeting approved proposals related to land acquisition and land purchase for the development of new industrial areas in various districts of the state. This decision will attract large-scale industrial investment, create a balanced regional employment opportunity.
