Uttar Pradesh Government Conducts Major Police Department Reshuffle

The Yogi government of Uttar Pradesh has made a major administrative reshuffle in the police department today and five IPS officers of the state have been transferred. The list of transfers also includes the name of Superintendent of Police, Rampur, Somendra Meena. As per the order issued, Anil Kumar Singh (IPS-SPS-2015) has been transferred from the Superintendent of Police, Security Headquarters, Lucknow to the Superintendent of Police, Rampur. Somendra Meena (IPS-RR-2017), posted in Rampur, has been transferred to the Superintendent of Police, Regional Information, Agra. This transfer of the SP of Rampur is being considered very important before the bulldozer action in Azam Khan's Jauhar University in Rampur.
