Uttar Pradesh Government to Develop Hathras Urban Center as Hi-Tech Industrial Hub

The Yogi government is preparing to make another district of Uttar Pradesh and many of its villages a hi-tech city. It will soon become an industrial manufacturing hub and a destination generating millions of jobs. Further accelerating the pace of industrial development in Uttar Pradesh, the Yamuna Expressway Industrial Development Authority (YEIDA) has started work on a very ambitious greenfield project. The'Hathras Urban Center'is being designed as a hi-tech industrial and residential satellite town under the'Mahayojana / Master Plan 2041'under the Phase-2 development of the Yamuna Expressway. Out of the four main urban nodes (Aligarh, Mathura, Agra and Hathras) being developed by YEIDA, Hathras has been specifically selected as a major industrial manufacturing hub. A total of more than 50 villages of Hathras and Sasni tehsils have been notified for this mega project, the total area of which will be around 10,000 acres (10,000 hectares). A state-of-the-art engineering consultancy company'GeoGraphic Consultants'has been appointed for this city.
