Violence Erupts in Hazaribagh as Students Protest Against Jharkhand Government

There was a ruckus in Jharkhand's Hazaribagh on Friday over the burning of an effigy of Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Students were preparing to burn an effigy at Gandhi Maidan in Korra police station area. Meanwhile, there was a tense situation there. The district administration tried to remove the students. After the warning, light force was used. Students are angry with the action of the Jharkhand government. Due to this resentment, they had announced a protest against Chief Minister Hemant Soren. Students were gathered at Gandhi Maidan. They were preparing to burn an effigy. Meanwhile, a team of the administration reached the spot. It has also been reported that JMM workers reached there during the students'protest. It is alleged that some activists reached there with sticks in their hands. They started chasing the students who were preparing to burn the effigy. This created a ruckus at the spot. The students started to leave. BJP leaders have alleged that the JMM workers assaulted the students.
