Violence Erupts in Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir as Thousands Protest Against Government Policies

Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) is burning right now. Thousands of people are on the streets against the policies of the Pakistani government and army. The Pakistani army has resorted to violence and brutality to suppress the voice of those protesting for their rights. More than 30 people have been killed in clashes between protesters and security forces in PoK. The city of Rawalakot in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir is currently burning in the fire of violence. The furore has increased even more after the shooting of a businessman by the Pakistani army here. Former DGP of Jammu and Kashmir SP Vaid accused Field Marshal General Asim Munir of behaving like General Dyer. Munir said that Munir has ordered action against innocent and unarmed protesters demanding basic facilities which is similar to the massacre in Jalliawala Bagh. Speaking to NDTV, former DGP of Jammu and Kashmir SP Vaid also criticised the attitude of some Kashmir-centric leaders and said that some Kashmiri leaders remain silent on the situation in Gaza and Gaza, while SP Vaid immediately said that they are silent on the situation in Gaza.
