Wankaner Palika's General Elections: 52 Candidates Contest for 28 Seats

(By Mohd Rathod) Wankaner તા.25: People's vote for general elections to Wankaner Palika tomorrow, total 7 wards, now only 28 seats of six wards are in fray. Out of 28 seats in ward no. 1-2-3 - 4-5-6 and 7, only 8 candidates in ward-1, 11 candidates in ward no. 2, 8 candidates in ward નં.3માંથી are in the fray. While four candidates of Congress panel of ward નં.4માં Mahammadbhai Rathod have been elected unopposed, 9 candidates are in ward no. 5 and 7 candidates are in the fray in ward no. 8 candidates are contesting for four seats. A total of 52 candidates are contesting in the next general elections. Out of which 24 candidates of BJP and 22 candidates of Congress are contesting against 6 candidates of BSP who are disgruntled with BJP.
