West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari Disputes Opposition's Anti-SIR Movement, Claims Lack of Public Support

Political rhetoric over the SIR continues in West Bengal. West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari has questioned the opposition and former Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's anti-SIR movement. He claimed that no major movement is going on in the state and the opposition is not getting public support. Suvendu Adhikari, referring to Mamata Banerjee's meeting in Serampore, said that the crowd at the meeting was small after the court's permission. He claimed that only about 150 people were present at the meeting. However, there may be different claims about the number of people present at the meeting, so this figure should be seen as Suvendu Adhikari's claim. Kolkata: West Bengal CM Suvendu Adhikari says, "There is no movement. Where is the movement? They (opposition) don't even have the public with them.
