Kolkata: West Bengal Governor Dr. सी.वी.Anand Bose has resigned from his post. He is currently in Delhi. Anand has sent his resignation to President Droupadi Murmu. Anand Bose has resigned from his post at a time when assembly elections in the state are not far away. Soon the Election Commission is likely to announce assembly elections. The governor's resignation has also intensified political pressure. West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee's reaction has come as soon as the news of Governor Dr. सी.वी.
