In fact, Mamata Banerjee's party Trinamool Congress (TMC) on Thursday (June 18, 2026) has made a fresh allegation against the Suvendu Adhikari government of Bengal that the government has removed long-standing personnel deployed in Mamata Banerjee's security. TMC has called this move a political vendetta and a new low. Trinamool Congress (TMC) said in a post on social media platform X on Thursday (June 18, 2026), "Mamata Banerjee has Z category security. There is no official confirmation of any personnel being removed from the security system of the three-time Chief Minister of the state Banerjee or any other person being deployed in her place." The party said, "This is not an administrative action, but an attempt to isolate and threaten her."
